Dimensions and location selection
The unit is designed for wall and floor mounting. A minimum free space of 1 meter must be left in front of the unit for service and filter replacement. The installation location must be protected from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures.
Duct connection
All ducts on the unit have a standard Ø 125 mm diameter. The unit can be of left (L) or right (R) design – pay attention when connecting supply, extract, intake, and exhaust air ducts. To prevent vibration, it is recommended to connect the ducts via flexible connectors.
Condensate drainage
Because the RECOM 3 SE model features an enthalpy (moisture recovery) heat exchanger, condensation inside the unit is less frequent. However, depending on indoor humidity and external temperatures, the need for a condensate drain must be evaluated according to manufacturer instructions.
Electrical connection
Electrical work must only be performed by a qualified electrician. The unit connects to a single-phase 230V power network. Proper grounding and a dedicated circuit breaker are required.
Control systems
Control automation is integrated in FPD units. The Blauberg Home app allows full Wi-Fi configuration. In the FP version, the wired wall panel connects to the designated terminals in the unit. External sensors like CO₂, humidity, and fire alarms can also be connected.
First start
Before turning on the system, perform the following steps:
- Check that the G4 filters are correctly installed in their places.
- Ensure all duct connections are sealed tight.
- Verify the correctness of the electrical connection.
- Turn on the unit and balance the airflows at the diffusers.
Maintenance and filters
