75 mm Plastic Elbow for Flexible Duct Systems
90° elbow for flexible duct systems
This 90-degree elbow allows you to smoothly and reliably change the direction of a flexible duct in tight spaces. Manufactured from metal or plastic depending on the dimensions, it ensures optimal airflow without significant pressure losses and guarantees system airtightness.
Why use special elbows?
Although flexible ducts can be bent naturally, bending them too sharply in confined spaces can deform the duct walls and severely restrict airflow. These 90-degree elbows (the 75 mm model is made of metal, the 90 mm of durable plastic) allow for sharp directional changes safely, without losing ventilation system efficiency.
Airtightness and aerodynamics
The internal geometry of the elbow is designed to minimize air resistance and prevent additional noise generation in the duct run. To ensure the connection is completely hermetic and the system does not lose pressure, it is mandatory to use rubber sealing gaskets of the appropriate diameter during installation.
Compatibility with ventilation components
The fitting is perfectly adapted for standard 75 mm and 90 mm flexible ventilation ducts. In the ORO Haus range, you will find all the necessary sealing gaskets, fixators, and other connection elements for quick and professional installation.
Technical specifications
Key specifications indicating the properties of the fitting according to the selected duct size.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Material | Metal (75 mm) / Plastic (90 mm) |
| Angle | 90 degrees |
| Purpose | Changing duct direction |
| Suitable diameter | 75 mm / 90 mm |
| Compatible gaskets | Yes (recommended) |
Size compatibility
The elbows are adapted to the most popular flexible duct dimensions.
| Parameter | 75 mmSelected | 90 mm |
|---|---|---|
| Corresponding duct diameter (D) | 75 mm | 90 mm |
Installing elbows is fast, but to prevent pressure loss, proper sealing must be ensured.
Preparation
Before making the connection, ensure the flexible duct is cut straight across the corrugation groove and is free of sharp burrs.
Sealing
Slip rubber sealing gaskets onto both ends of the ducts you will connect to the elbow (place them into the first or second groove of the duct).
Connection
Firmly push the ducts with the gaskets into the elbow ports from both sides until they stop. If necessary, use additional locking clips for maximum security.
