The RECOM 6 SE EPP EC is designed for large-scale homes requiring significant airflow (up to 720 m3/h) while maintaining peak comfort. The 45 mm thick EPP (expanded polypropylene) casing acts as excellent thermal insulation and a noise barrier, ensuring the unit remains quiet even at high capacity.
Smart Moisture Recovery
The integrated enthalpy counter-flow heat exchanger solves the main winter ventilation issue -- dry air. A special membrane allows moisture particles to return to the rooms, eliminating the need for additional humidification systems and condensate drainage setup.
Flexible Installation
Despite its power, the design supports both wall and floor mounting. Vertical duct outlets save space, while the large diameter (200 mm) connections ensure low air resistance and minimized energy consumption. The installation of RECOM 6 SE EPP EC requires a solid base due to its 55 kg weight. You can choose between wall mounting using the special bracket or floor placement on anti-vibration feet.

Location selection
Leave at least 800 mm of free space in front of the service panel. This is required for filter replacement and annual heat exchanger inspection. Ensure the wall structure can support the weight.
Duct connection
Use 200 mm diameter ducts. We recommend using flexible connectors to ensure maximum acoustic comfort.
Condensate
IMPORTANT: Since an enthalpy heat exchanger is used, a condensate drain (siphon) is not mandatory for this model if the unit is located in heated spaces.
