The installation of the square diffuser is a standardized process. It is designed for surface mounting, not for plastering-in. Suitable for various ceiling and wall types.
Mounting preparation
Before starting, ensure you have the correct diameter (100 mm or 125 mm) duct or distribution box branch ready. If installing in plasterboard or suspended ceilings, prepare the appropriate hole for the connection spigot.
Damper preparation
Depending on the system design, decide if additional airflow balancing at the diffuser will be needed. If the system flows are already balanced at the distribution boxes or you want maximum throughput, remove the airflow balancing damper before installing the diffuser.
Duct connection
Insert the diffuser spigot with (or without) the damper into the prepared duct. It is recommended to use sealing tapes or appropriate mounting hardware to ensure a tight seal.
Diffuser fixing
Attach the outer diffuser frame to the ceiling or wall surface. This is particularly convenient when making installations in suspended panel ceilings due to the product's suitable dimensions (230x230 mm).
