AKU-COMP Lankstus Izoliuotas Triukšmo Slopintuvas
Flexible insulated silencer for ventilation systems
Ensure quiet operation of your ventilation system with the standard AKU-COMP silencer. Made of a flexible perforated duct wrapped in 25-50 mm mineral wool insulation and a durable outer cover. Excellently attenuates low-frequency noise and ensures a reliable and fast connection between the unit and the main ducts.
Why choose the standard AKU-COMP silencer?
This flexible silencer is designed to ensure optimal acoustic comfort in ventilation systems. The mineral wool insulation effectively absorbs sounds (especially low-frequency) emanating from the AHU fans. The flexible duct structure allows the element to be easily installed even where rigid silencers would not fit due to lack of space.
Applications
The standard AKU-COMP (with PE or basic cover) is ideally suited for residential heat recovery systems where special elevated fire safety requirements (e.g. A1 class) are not needed. The element withstands pressure up to 1000 Pa and ensures reliable air transmission at temperatures up to +80 C.
Duct system components
The silencer acts as a connection between your ventilation unit and distribution boxes or main ducts. Integrated metal sleeves at both ends guarantee a tight connection to galvanized steel parts. In the ORO Haus range, you will find all the necessary brackets and fasteners for a successful job.

Dimensions by diameter
Silencers are supplied compressed. To achieve the required acoustic performance, they must be extended at the installation site.

Correct installation is key to the efficient operation of the ventilation system and avoiding additional noise.
Extending the duct
Before connecting to the system, the element must be extended to its full specified length. Without extending the silencer, you will not get the declared sound attenuation parameters.
Connecting to the unit
The silencer is placed between the ventilation unit spigot and the subsequent duct. Factory-pressed metal sleeves easily connect with other standard ventilation parts. Fix the connection with screws or rivets.
Fixing and sealing
Ensure the system's class C or higher tightness by wrapping the joints with adhesive aluminum or special insulating tape. Avoid sharp bends in the silencer, as they can affect airflow pressure.
