AKU-COMP A Lankstus Izoliuotas Triukšmo Slopintuvas
A1 fire class flexible insulated silencer
Ensure quiet operation of your ventilation system with the fire-resistant AKU-COMP A silencer. Made of a flexible perforated duct and 25-50 mm mineral wool, covered with durable reinforced aluminum foil meeting A1 fire class. Ideal for reliable connections between the unit and ducts, excellently attenuating low-frequency noise.
Why choose the AKU-COMP A silencer?
This flexible silencer guarantees not only effective sound absorption in the low-frequency range but also high fire safety. The metal sleeves at the ends ensure a highly reliable and tight connection with the ducts, while the flexible structure allows for easy installation even in tight spaces.
Applications
AKU-COMP A is specifically designed for use where higher fire safety requirements apply. The outer layer is covered with reinforced aluminum foil meeting the requirements for non-combustible materials (Euro class A1 according to EN 13501-1). It withstands pressures from 0 to 1000 Pa and a working temperature of +80 C, making it suitable for both residential and commercial ventilation systems.
Duct system components
The silencer is usually installed between the ventilation unit (AHU) and the main ductwork or distribution box. To complete the system, you will also need mounting clamps, sealing tapes, and main ventilation ducts. ORO Haus specialists are always ready to help you choose compatible components.

Dimensions by diameter
Silencers are supplied in a compressed form and must be extended to their nominal specified length (0.6 m or 1.2 m) during installation to achieve maximum sound attenuation.
| Parameter | ⌀100 | ⌀125 | ⌀160 | ⌀200 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Connection | Sleeve / Sleeve | Sleeve / Sleeve | Sleeve / Sleeve | Sleeve / Sleeve |
| Compressed length (for 0.6m model) | 0.28 m | 0.28 m | 0.28 m | 0.28 m |
| Compressed length (for 1.2m model) | 0.55 m | 0.55 m | 0.55 m | 0.55 m |
Installing the silencer is fast and requires no special tools, but it is important to follow a few essential rules to ensure system tightness and maximum sound attenuation efficiency.
Extending the silencer
To achieve the maximum sound attenuation effect, the silencer must be extended to its full nominal length during installation (e.g., a compressed 0.55 m section must be extended to 1.2 m). An unextended silencer loses part of its acoustic properties.
Connecting to the system
The metal sleeves at both ends easily slide into standard galvanized steel ducts or AHU spigots. It is recommended to mechanically secure the connection with self-tapping screws or special rivets.
Sealing
Although the sleeves provide a good initial connection, it is always recommended to further insulate and seal the joint using high-quality temperature-resistant aluminum tape.
Routing and fixing
The silencer is flexible, but try to avoid sharp angles or kinks, as this increases air resistance. Use appropriately sized duct clamps with rubber linings to prevent the transmission of vibrations to the building structure.
